Welcome to a traditional Sussex Country Pub in the cul-de-sac village of Alciston at the foot of the South Downs.
Alciston lies between the A27 and ‘The old coach road’ which makes it ideal for the great walks that surround it. Alciston is also in the middle of Firle and Alfriston which offers superb walks through each of the villages and the unspoilt countryside.
The Rose Cottage Inn has been in the same family for over
40 years, and is celebrated for its good traditional home-
cooked food including locally supplied meats, seasonal
fish & game.
We also have a self-catering flat comprising of a double bedroom. W.C, shower-room and a full kitchen/diner. With its superb Downland views its an ideal place to get away.
Our minimum let is two nights at £60 per night with extra nights at £40 per night.
